2. Hosting

This application is hosted by Railway Corp. (San Francisco, USA). When you access it, technically necessary data (IP address, time of access, page requested, browser type) is processed to deliver the page and keep the service secure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

3. Account and access

An account is required to download print-ready files. For this we process your e-mail address, a hashed password, the redeemed license code, the time of registration and sign-ins, and the history of your exports (model type and settings). To prevent abuse, sign-in attempts are logged together with the IP address and deleted after 90 days at the latest. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (security).

4. E-mail delivery

Verification codes and notices about your account are sent directly from our application server operated by Railway Corp. (San Francisco, USA). Your e-mail address and the content of the message are processed for this; no additional e-mail service providers are involved. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; transfers to the USA are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses mentioned in section 2.

5. Cookies and local storage

Necessary: a session cookie for sign-in (30 days), a trial-mode cookie (30 days) and locally stored preferences (language, tour seen, cookie decision). These are required to operate the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, § 165(3) Austrian Telecommunications Act – TKG 2021).

Optional – Google Analytics: only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 165(3) TKG 2021) we use Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Ltd. to analyse usage in anonymised form. IP addresses are truncated; Google signals and ad personalisation are disabled. You can withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings”.

6. Live indicator

While you use the application, your browser reports over a real-time connection which page you are on and which model type you are currently editing. This information is visible to administrators only, is not stored, and serves operation and support (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Austria: Datenschutzbehörde). To delete your account, an e-mail to the address above is sufficient.
